Fortifications belges de la deuxième guerre mondiale, première ligne de défenses, intervalle Becco-Vesdre. L'intervalle Becco-Vesdre comptait 25 abris dont les deux observatoires du fort de Pepinster-Tancrémont identifié par le petit quadrilatère irrégulier en haut et à gauche de l'illustration : Mont (BV14) et Vesdre (BV24). Deux ont été détruits, deux sont en mauvais état. Francis a identifié, localisé et photographié tous ceux qui ont survécu à l'extension urbaine, à la création de rond-points ou à l'élargissement de routes. Das Intervall Becco-Vesdre zählte 25 Unterstände, darunter die beiden Beobachtungsstellen des Forts Pepinster-Tancrémont, gekennzeichnet durch das kleine unregelmäßige Viereck oben links in der Abbildung: Mont (BV14) und Vesdre (BV24). Zwei wurden zerstört, zwei sind in schlechtem Zustand. Francis hat alle, die der städtischen Erweiterung, dem Bau von Kreisverkehren oder der Straßenerweiterung überlebt haben, identifiziert, lokalisiert und fotografiert.
