Il couvrait le chemin descendant du fort d’Aubin-Neufchâteau. L’embrasure est murée. NV 1 avait un mur de parement comme camouflage et des tiges d’acier sont toujours présentes. L’accès est assez difficile. L’intérieur est en bon état et complet. Affût FRC dont il ne reste que les tiges filetées. Une goulotte lances-grenades, dont le clapet de fermeture a disparu, défendait l’entrée. Deux bornes DN (Défense Nationale) sont encore visibles.

Es deckte den vom Fort Aubin-Neufchâteau herabsteigenden Weg ab. Die Schiesscharte ist vermauert. NV 1 hatte eine Verblendmauer als Tarnung, und Stahlstangen sind noch vorhanden. Der Zugang ist ziemlich schwierig. Das Innere ist in gutem Zustand und vollständig. FRC-Lafette, von der nur die Gewindestangen übrig sind. Eine Granatwurfrinne, deren Verschlussklappe verschwunden ist, verteidigte den Eingang. Zwei DN-Grenzsteine (Landesverteidigung) sind noch sichtbar.

Belgické opevnění z druhé světové války, opevněná pozice Lutych, první obranná linie, interval Neufchâteau-Visé. NV 1 se nachází na louce v Afnay. Kryla cestu sestupující z fortu Aubin-Neufchâteau. Střílna je zazděna. NV 1 měl obkladovou zeď jako maskování a ocelové tyče jsou stále přítomny. Přístup je poměrně obtížný. Interiér je v dobrém stavu a kompletní. Lafeta FRC, z níž zůstaly pouze závitové tyče. Odpalovací žlábek pro granáty, jehož uzavírací klapka zmizela, bránil vstup. Dva DN hraničníky (Národní obrana) jsou stále viditelné.
