PFA (Position Fortifiée d'Anvers), nord-est de la ville, ceinture extérieure, 15 m/alt, 1885-1892. Situé entre les forts de Brasschaat et de 's Gravenwezel, 2 coupoles de 2 x 15 c, 2 coupoles de 1 x 21 c, 5 tourelles pour 1 x 5,7 c, 10 canons de 5,7 c pour le flanquement, 2 observatoires cuirassés. Fort tout à fait atypique avec fossé sec à la gorge avec courtine. Un réduit central composé d'une galerie de fusillade, et surmonté d'une coupole de 2 x 15 c (Le Creusot / Van de Kerchove) et d'une tourelle de 1 x 5,7 c, le tout cerné par un parapet d'infanterie. Un fossé sec cerne ce réduit dont la contrescarpe est, elle aussi, composée d'une galerie de fusillade. La contrescarpe de gorge comporte de nombreux arceaux en décharge. Beaucoup de similitudes avec les forts de la Meuse. Occupé par l'armée. Parfois orthographié "Schooten".

FSA (Versterkte Position Antwerpen), nordöstlich der Stadt, äußere Gürtel, 15 M/ü. M., 1885-1892. Gelegen zwischen den Forts Brasschaat und 's Gravenwezel, 2 Kuppeln mit 2 x 15 cm, 2 Kuppeln mit 1 x 21 cm, 5 Türme für 1 x 5,7 cm, 10 Kanonen 5,7 cm für die Flankierung, 2 gepanzerte Beobachtungsstände. Ganz atypisches Fort mit trockenem Kehlgraben mit Kurtine. Ein zentraler Reduit bestehend aus einem Schützengang, überragt von einer Kuppel mit 2 x 15 cm (Le Creusot / Van de Kerchove) und einem Turm mit 1 x 5,7 cm, das Ganze umgeben von einer Infanteriebrustwehr. Ein trockener Graben umgibt diesen Reduit, dessen Kontereskarpe ebenfalls aus einem Schützengang besteht. Die Kehlkontereskarpe weist viele Entlastungsbögen auf. Viele Ähnlichkeiten mit den Forts an der Maas. Von der Armee besetzt. Manchmal "Schooten" geschrieben.

VSA (Versterkte Stelling Antwerpen), noordoosten van de stad, buitenste gordel, 15 m/TAW, 1885-1892. Gelegen tussen de forten Brasschaat en 's Gravenwezel, 2 koepels met 2 x 15 cm, 2 koepels met 1 x 21 cm, 5 geschutskoepels voor 1 x 5,7 cm, 10 kanonnen 5,7 cm voor de flankering, 2 gepantserde observatieposten. Heel atypisch fort met droge keelgracht met courtine. Een centraal reduit bestaande uit een schietgalerij, en overwelfd door een koepel met 2 x 15 cm (Le Creusot / Van de Kerchove) en een geschutskoepel met 1 x 5,7 cm, het geheel omgeven door een infanterieborstwering. Een droge gracht omringt dit reduit waarvan de contrescarp ook bestaat uit een schietgalerij. De keelcontrescarp heeft vele ontlastbogen. Veel gelijkenissen met de forten aan de Maas. Bezet door het leger. Soms gespeld als "Schooten".

Quite atypical fort with dry throat ditch with curtain. A central redoubt composed of a firing gallery, and surmounted by a cupola with 2 x 15 cm (Le Creusot / Van de Kerchove) and a turret with 1 x 5.7 cm, the whole surrounded by an infantry parapet. A dry ditch surrounds this redoubt whose counterscarp is also composed of a firing gallery. The throat counterscarp has many relieving arches. Many similarities with the forts of the Meuse. Occupied by the army. Sometimes spelled "Schooten".

POA (Opevněná pozice Antverp), severovýchodně od města, vnější pás, 15 m/n. m., 1885-1892. Umístěná mezi tvrzemi Brasschaat a 's Gravenwezel, 2 kopule s 2 x 15 cm, 2 kopule s 1 x 21 cm, 5 věží pro 1 x 5,7 cm, 10 děl 5,7 cm pro postřelování boků, 2 pancéřovaná pozorovací stanoviště. Zcela atypická tvrz s suchým příkopem na týlu s kurtinou. Ústřední reduit složený z palebné galerie, zakončený kopulí s 2 x 15 cm (Le Creusot / Van de Kerchove) a věží s 1 x 5,7 cm, vše obklopené pěchotním parapetem. Suchý příkop obklopuje tento reduit, jehož kontreskarp je také tvořen palebnou galerií. Kontreskarp týlu má mnoho odlehčovacích oblouků. Mnoho podobností s tvrzemi na Máze. Okupováno armádou. Někdy psáno "Schooten".
