Place de Bonifacio, 1887. Située à peu près à 3000 m au SE de la citadelle de Bonifacio, cette batterie fut initialement armée de 2 x 120 L de Bange. En 1894, on propose de lui adjoindre 4 x 95 mm, mais en 1895, on lui double en fait ses pièces de 120 mm, en même temps que, faute de crédits, on reporte la construction d'une petite redoute. Au 17 janvier 1913, on sait que la batterie a perdu ses 4 x 120 L au profit de 4 x 90 mm Mle 1877. Un projet de refonte restera dans les cartons. Bien que batterie côtière, elle protégeait aussi les approches terrestres de la citadelle. Nous ignorons ce qu’il subsiste de ses installations. Notons, environ 1100 au SSE, la batterie de Pertusato qui est probablement la batterie la plus au sud du territoire couvert par cet index, mais qui date de l’entre-deux guerres et qui, dès lors, n’est pas prise en considération.
