Fortifications belges de la deuxième guerre mondiale, position fortifiée de Liège, première ligne de résistance, fort de Battice. Bloc E, entrée principale du fort, il dispose de locaux de décontamination, d'un local mitrailleuse réaffecté, d'un local phare réaffecté, d'un monte-charge qui aboutit dans la galerie principale reliant le BE aux blocs pour coupoles B nord et B sud ainsi que de divers petits locaux et d'un escalier qui plonge dans les profondeurs de l'ouvrage. Comme partout ailleurs à Battice, tous les équipements subsistants sont pleinement fonctionnels. Block E, Haupteingang des Forts, verfügt über Dekontaminationsräume, einen umgenutzten Maschinengewehrraum, einen umgenutzten Scheinwerferraum, einen Lastenaufzug, der in den Hauptgang mündet, der den BE mit den Kuppelblöcken B Nord und B Süd verbindet, sowie über verschiedene kleine Räume und eine Treppe, die in die Tiefen der Anlage hinabführt. Wie überall in Battice sind alle erhaltenen Ausrüstungen voll funktionsfähig. Blok E, hoofdingang van het fort, beschikt over ontsmettingslokalen, een herbestemde machinegeweerruimte, een herbestemde zoeklichtruimte, een goederenlift die uitkomt in de hoofdgalerij die de BE verbindt met de koepelblokken B noord en B zuid, evenals diverse kleine lokalen en een trap die afdaalt in de diepten van het werk. Zoals overal in Battice zijn alle overgebleven uitrustingen volledig functioneel. As everywhere else in Battice, all surviving equipment is fully functional. Blok E, hlavní vstup do pevnosti, disponuje dekontaminačními místnostmi, přeměněnou místností pro kulomet, přeměněnou místností pro světlomet, nákladním výtahem ústícím do hlavní chodby spojující BE s kopulovými bloky B sever a B jih, dále různými malými místnostmi a schodištěm sestupujícím do hlubin díla. Jako všude jinde v Battice je veškeré dochované vybavení plně funkční.
