Abri classique de type PFL2 modifié avec une embrasure transformée en goulotte lance-grenades et une cloche d'observation en toiture, arrachée depuis, et situé à l'arrière dans le jardin d'une propriété privée de la rue Sabaré sur la commune de Cheratte, à 100 m au nord-nord-est de l'abri BM4. Le fortin BM3 était attaché au fort de Barchon pour lequel il effectuait des missions d'observation et d'interdiction.

Die Kaponniere BM3 war dem Fort Barchon zugeordnet, für das sie Beobachtungs- und Sperraufträge ausführte.

Klassieke schuilkelder van het type VSL2, aangepast met een tot granaatwerper-goot omgebouwd schietgat en een observatiekoepel op het dak, intussen weggehaald, gelegen achteraan in de tuin van een privéterrein in de rue Sabaré in de gemeente Cheratte, op 100 m ten noordnoordoosten van de schuilkelder BM4. Het fortje BM3 was verbonden aan het fort van Barchon waarvoor het observatie- en interdictieopdrachten uitvoerde.

Klasický pěchotní srub typu OPL2 upravený s jednou střílnou přeměněnou na granátometný žlab a pozorovacím zvonem na střeše, od té doby vytrženým, nacházející se vzadu v zahradě na soukromém pozemku v ulici Rue Sabaré v obci Cheratte, 100 m severoseverovýchodně od pěchotního srubu BM4. Pevnůstka BM3 byla přidružena k pevnosti Barchon, pro kterou prováděla pozorovací a zábranovací úkoly.
