Comme nous venons de le voir à la page d'introduction, la position fortifiée d'Anvers (PFA) présente un patrimoine excessivement riche et intéressant couvrant toutes les périodes conflictuelles de la Belgique y compris avant sa constitution et au cours des différentes périodes d'occupation. Ces fortifications sont réparties en 3 ceintures distinctes, l'enceinte de la ville, la ceinture intermédiaire ou petite ceinture et la ceinture extérieure ou grande ceinture. Quelques ouvrages viennent s'intercaler entre ces différentes ceintures selon les besoins mais selon le fait qu'ils existaient préalablement.

Diese Befestigungen sind in 3 getrennte Gürtel verteilt: die Stadtumwallung, der mittlere Gürtel oder kleine Gürtel und der äußere Gürtel oder große Gürtel. Einige Werke schieben sich zwischen diese verschiedenen Gürtel je nach Bedarf, aber entsprechend der Tatsache, dass sie vorher existierten.

Zoals we zojuist hebben gezien op de introductiepagina, vertoont de Versterkte Stelling Antwerpen (VSA) een buitengewoon rijk en interessant erfgoed dat alle conflictperiodes van België bestrijkt, inclusief vóór haar oprichting en tijdens de verschillende bezettingsperiodes. Deze versterkingen zijn verdeeld in 3 afzonderlijke gordels: de stadsomwalling, de tussenliggende gordel of kleine gordel en de buitenste gordel of grote gordel. Enkele werken schuiven tussen deze verschillende gordels naar behoefte in, maar volgens het feit dat ze vooraf bestonden.

As we have just seen on the introduction page, the Fortified Position of Antwerp (FPA) presents an exceedingly rich and interesting heritage covering all of Belgium's conflict periods including before its establishment and during the various periods of occupation. These fortifications are distributed into 3 distinct belts: the city enceinte, the intermediate belt or small belt, and the outer belt or large belt. Some works are inserted between these different belts according to needs but based on the fact that they existed previously.

Tato opevnění jsou rozdělena do 3 samostatných pásů: městská hradba, střední pás neboli malý pás a vnější pás neboli velký pás. Některá díla se vkládají mezi tyto různé pásy podle potřeb, ale podle skutečnosti, že existovala předem.
