Fortifications belges de la deuxième guerre mondiale, position fortifiée de Liège, première ligne de résistance, intervalle Vesdre-Manaihant. VM 4 couvrait la route venant du Grand Ri ainsi que l'abri VM 3. Il est incorporé dans la construction d’une habitation. L’intérieur est transformé en cave. Les attaches ont été enlevées mais il reste quelques vestiges dont le volet de protection de l’affût FRC. Je remercie la propriétaire de m’avoir permis de voir l’ouvrage.

Belgische Festungen aus dem Zweiten Weltkrieg, verstärkte Stellung Lüttich, erste Widerstandslinie, Intervall Vesdre-Manaihant. VM 4 deckte die vom Grand Ri kommende Straße sowie den Unterstand VM 3 ab. Er ist in den Bau eines Wohnhauses integriert. Das Innere ist in einen Keller umgewandelt. Die Halterungen wurden entfernt, aber es bleiben einige Überreste, darunter die Schutzklappe der FRC-Lafette. Ich danke der Eigentümerin, dass sie mir erlaubt hat, das Werk zu besichtigen.

VM 4 dekte de weg komende van de Grand Ri af evenals de schuilkelder VM 3. Het is opgenomen in de bouw van een woning. Het interieur is omgevormd tot een kelder. De bevestigingen zijn verwijderd maar er blijven enkele overblijfselen over, waaronder het beschermingsluik van het FRC-affuit. Ik dank de eigenares voor mij toegestaan te hebben het werk te zien.

Belgian fortifications from the Second World War, fortified position of Liège, first line of resistance, interval Vesdre-Manaihant. VM 4 covered the road coming from the Grand Ri as well as the shelter VM 3. It is incorporated into the construction of a dwelling. The interior has been converted into a cellar. The attachments have been removed but there remain some vestiges including the protection shutter of the FRC mount. I thank the owner for having allowed me to see the structure.

Belgické opevnění z druhé světové války, opevněná pozice Lutych, první linie odporu, interval Vesdre-Manaihant. VM 4 krylo silnici přicházející z Grand Ri a také bunkr VM 3. Je začleněn do stavby obytného domu. Interiér je přeměněn na sklep. Úchyty byly odstraněny, ale zůstaly některé pozůstatky včetně ochranné klapky lafety FRC. Děkuji majitelce, že mi umožnila prohlédnout si objekt.
