Dept 62 (Pas-de-Calais). Ancienne place forte, composante du pré carré de Vauban, dont, en vue de concilier les intérêts civils et militaires, de nombreux ouvrages ont été déclassés par le Comité des Fortifications dans sa séance du 4 janvier 1884 ; à savoir : l'ouvrage de Ronville, les lunettes 168 et 169, les flèches 144, 147, 151, 157, 158, 159, la demi-lune 2 et sa contregarde 3, la lunette 22, la redoute 73, les petits ouvrages 75, 76, 77, 78, 79 et les 2 ouvrages 51 et CC. Pratiquement, la citadelle seule fut conservée en tant que caserne. Le Conseil supérieur de la Guerre, en date du 1 octobre 1888, prononce le déclassement suivi du démantèlement à la suite duquel, aujourd'hui il ne subsiste que le petit bastion de Roeux. En revanche, la majeure partie de la citadelle est encore debout et occupée par le 601ème RCR (Régiment de Circulation Routière) (09/2004). Construite de 1668 à 1670 sur les plans de Vauban, elle possédait cinq bastions agencés en un pentagone presque régulier. L'association de briques de terre cuite et de la craie font des bâtiments, tels l'arsenal, ou la chapelle Saint-Louis, des merveilles d'architecture. Nous n'avons pu y repérer la moindre construction datant de la période couverte par cet index. La nouvelle carte militaire, dévoilée en juillet 2008, annonce la dissolution du 601ème RCR courant 2009. Nous ignorons quel sera le sort de la citadelle.

Januar 1884 außer Dienst gestellt wurden; nämlich: das Werk Ronville, die Lünettens 168 und 169, die Schanzen 144, 147, 151, 157, 158, 159, die Halbmondschanze 2 und ihre Kontergarde 3, die Lünetteschanze 22, die Redoute 73, die kleinen Werke 75, 76, 77, 78, 79 und die 2 Werke 51 und CC. Praktisch wurde nur die Zitadelle als Kaserne erhalten. Der Oberste Kriegsrat beschließt am 1. Oktober 1888 die Außerdienststellung gefolgt vom Abbruch, nach dem heute nur noch der kleine Bastion Roeux übrig bleibt. Im Gegensatz dazu steht der Großteil der Zitadelle noch und wird vom 601. RCR (Régiment de Circulation Routière) belegt (09/2004). Erbaut von 1668 bis 1670 nach Plänen von Vauban, besaß sie fünf Bastionen, die in einem fast regelmäßigen Fünfeck angeordnet waren. Die Kombination von Terrakotta-Ziegeln und Kreide macht Gebäude wie das Arsenal oder die Kapelle Saint-Louis zu architektonischen Wundern. Wir konnten dort kein einziges Bauwerk aus der von diesem Index abgedeckten Zeit ausfindig machen. Die neue Militärkarte, die im Juli 2008 enthüllt wurde, kündigt die Auflösung des 601. RCR im Laufe des Jahres 2009 an. Wir wissen nicht, was das Schicksal der Zitadelle sein wird.

De Hoge Oorlogsraad, op 1 oktober 1888, spreekt de buiten dienst stelling uit gevolgd door de ontmanteling waarna vandaag alleen de kleine bastion Roeux overblijft. Daarentegen staat het grootste deel van de citadel nog overeind en wordt bezet door het 601ste RCR (Régiment de Circulation Routière) (09/2004). Gebouwd van 1668 tot 1670 volgens de plannen van Vauban, het bezat vijf bastions gerangschikt in een bijna regelmatige vijfhoek. De combinatie van terracotta bakstenen en krijt maken gebouwen, zoals het arsenaal, of de kapel Saint-Louis, tot architecturale wonderen. We hebben er geen enkele constructie kunnen ontdekken die dateert uit de periode die door deze index wordt bestreken. De nieuwe militaire kaart, onthuld in juli 2008, kondigt de ontbinding van het 601ste RCR in de loop van 2009 aan. We weten niet wat het lot van de citadel zal zijn.

Built from 1668 to 1670 according to Vauban's plans, it possessed five bastions arranged in an almost regular pentagon. The combination of terracotta bricks and chalk make buildings, such as the arsenal, or the Saint-Louis chapel, architectural marvels. We were unable to locate any construction dating from the period covered by this index. The new military map, unveiled in July 2008, announces the dissolution of the 601st RCR during 2009. We do not know what the fate of the citadel will be.

Bývalá pevnost, součást pré carré Vaubana, z níž, s cílem sladit civilní a vojenské zájmy, bylo mnoho děl vyřazeno Výborem pro opevnění na jeho zasedání 4. ledna 1884; konkrétně: dílo Ronville, lunety 168 a 169, špicí 144, 147, 151, 157, 158, 159, půlměsícová šance 2 a její protihláska 3, luneta 22, reduta 73, malá díla 75, 76, 77, 78, 79 a 2 díla 51 a CC. Prakticky pouze citadela byla zachována jako kasárna. Nejvyšší válečná rada k 1. říjnu 1888 vyhlašuje vyřazení následované demolicí, po níž dnes zůstává pouze malý bastion Roeux. Naopak, většina citadely stále stojí a je obsazena 601. RCR (Régiment de Circulation Routière) (09/2004). Postavena od roku 1668 do 1670 podle Vaubanových plánů, měla pět bastionů uspořádaných do téměř pravidelného pětiúhelníku. Kombinace pálených cihel a křídy dělá z budov, jako je arzenál nebo kaple Saint-Louis, architektonické zázraky. Nepodařilo se nám tam najít jedinou stavbu pocházející z období pokrytého tímto indexem. Nová vojenská mapa, zveřejněná v červenci 2008, oznamuje rozpuštění 601. RCR v průběhu roku 2009. Nevíme, jaký bude osud citadely.
