Avancées nord-est de Nice, massif de l'Authion, 1887-1890. 2 042 m/alt. 13 000 m au nord de Sospel. Petit fort en forme de losange dont le casernement en son centre (six locaux au rez-de-chaussée et quatre en sous-sol) a été creusé dans le roc. Il avait la même mission que le fort de la Forca auquel il ressemble par son architecture. On trouve aux saillant I et III une petite caponnière bétonnée. Parfaitement dégagé de toute végétation, il constitue sans nul doute un beau but de promenade. Parfois orthographié "Mille Fourches".

Nordöstliche Avancées von Nizza, Massiv des Authion, 1887-1890. 2 042 M ü M. 13 000 m nördlich von Sospel. Kleines Fort in Rautenform, dessen Kasernement in seiner Mitte (sechs Räume im Erdgeschoss und vier im Untergeschoss) in den Felsen gegraben wurde. Es hatte die gleiche Mission wie das Fort der Forca, dem es in seiner Architektur ähnelt. An den Saillants I und III findet man eine kleine betonierte Kaponniere. Vollständig von jeglicher Vegetation freigestellt, bildet es ohne Zweifel ein schönes Wanderziel. Manchmal "Mille Fourches" geschrieben.

Noordoostelijke avancées van Nice, massief van de Authion, 1887-1890. 2 042 m/alt. 13 000 m ten noorden van Sospel. Klein fort in ruitvorm waarvan de kazerne in zijn centrum (zes lokalen op het gelijkvloers en vier in de kelder) in de rots is uitgegraven. Het had dezelfde missie als het fort van de Forca dat het in architectuur gelijkt. Men vindt aan de saillant I en III een kleine betonnen caponnière. Perfect vrijgemaakt van alle vegetatie, vormt het zonder twijfel een mooi wandeldoel. Soms gespeld als "Mille Fourches".

North-eastern avancées of Nice, Authion massif, 1887-1890. 2,042 m/alt. 13,000 m north of Sospel. Small fort in diamond shape whose barracks in its center (six rooms on the ground floor and four in the basement) were dug into the rock. It had the same mission as the fort of Forca which it resembles in its architecture. At saillants I and III one finds a small concreted caponier. Perfectly cleared of all vegetation, it constitutes without doubt a beautiful walking destination. Sometimes spelled "Mille Fourches".

Severovýchodní avancées z Nice, masiv Authion, 1887-1890. 2 042 m n.m. 13 000 m severně od Sospelu. Malá pevnost ve tvaru kosočtverce, jejíž kasárna v jejím středu (šest místností v přízemí a čtyři v suterénu) byla vytesána do skály. Měla stejný úkol jako pevnost na Forca, které se podobá svou architekturou. Na saliantech I a III se nachází malá betonová kaponiéra. Dokonale zbavená veškeré vegetace tvoří bezpochyby krásný cíl výletu. Někdy psáno "Mille Fourches".
