Projet, abandonné vers 1888, de construction d'un fort qui aurait assuré la continuité de la ceinture de forts détachés de Calais entre le littoral et le fort de Coulogne. Nous ignorons l'emplacement choisi mais sa mission ne pouvait être autre que de barrer la route et la voie ferrée venant de Dunkerque. Les reliefs propices ne sont guère légion autour du hameau de Marck. Voir Calais.

Wir kennen den gewählten Standort nicht, aber seine Aufgabe konnte nur darin bestehen, die Straße und die Eisenbahnlinie aus Dünkirchen zu sperren.
