Position Fortifiée de Liège, ouest-nord-ouest de la ville, 1888-1892. +/- 175 m/alt. 1 coupole de 2 x 15 cm, 2 coupoles de 1 x 21 cm, 2 coupoles de 2 x 12 cm, 4 tourelles de 1 x 5,7 cm, 1 phare cuirassé, 8 canons de 5,7 cm pour le flanquement. Grand fort triangulaire à large courtine. Le 15 août 1914 vers 17 h 20, la poudrière droite explosa entraînant la mort d'une grande partie de la garnison. C'est sans conteste le site de guerre 14-18 le plus impressionnant et le plus émouvant du pays. Les cuirassements sont toujours là, renversés par la gigantesque implosion. Ils sont désormais uniques au monde. Un splendide musée se situe sur les glacis. Cette nécropole est ouverte au public.

Großes dreieckiges Fort mit breiter Kurtine. Am 15. August 1914 gegen 17:20 Uhr explodierte das rechte Pulvermagazin, was den Tod eines großen Teils der Garnison zur Folge hatte. Es ist zweifellos die eindrucksvollste und bewegendste Gedenkstätte des Krieges 14-18 im Land. Die Panzerungen sind immer noch da, umgestürzt durch die gewaltige Implosion. Sie sind jetzt weltweit einzigartig. Ein prächtiges Museum befindet sich auf dem Glacis. Diese Nekropole ist für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich.

Het is onbetwist de meest indrukwekkende en ontroerende oorlogssite 14-18 van het land. De pantseringen zijn er nog steeds, omvergeworpen door de gigantische implosie. Ze zijn nu uniek in de wereld. Een prachtig museum bevindt zich op de glacis. Deze necropolis is open voor publiek.

Large triangular fort with a wide curtain wall. On 15 August 1914 around 5:20 p.m., the right powder magazine exploded causing the death of a large part of the garrison. It is without doubt the most impressive and moving 14-18 war site in the country. The armor plating is still there, overturned by the gigantic implosion. They are now unique in the world. A splendid museum is located on the glacis. This necropolis is open to the public.

Opevněná pozice Lutych, západoseverozápadně od města, 1888-1892. +/- 175 m/n. m. 1 kopule 2 x 15 cm, 2 kopule 1 x 21 cm, 2 kopule 2 x 12 cm, 4 věžičky 1 x 5,7 cm, 1 pancéřový světlomet, 8 kanónů 5,7 cm pro flankování. Velká trojúhelníková pevnost se širokou kurtinou. Dne 15. srpna 1914 kolem 17:20 vybuchl pravý prachový sklad, což mělo za následek smrt velké části posádky. Je to bezesporu nejpůsobivější a nejdojemnější válečná lokalita z let 14-18 v zemi. Pancéřování je stále na místě, převrácené obrovskou implozí. Jsou nyní ve světě jedinečná. Nádherné muzeum se nachází na glacis. Tato nekropole je otevřena pro veřejnost.
