Dépt 56 (Morbihan). Dépendait du 3ème arrondissement maritime dont le chef-lieu était Lorient. Les fortifications se limitent au fort central, à la batterie du Béniguet à la pointe nord-ouest et à celle d’En Tal, à la pointe nord-est.
